Close to 3 national borders and 3 language borders, the region offers a wealth of interesting cultural activities and events.

Influenced by the Rhineland carnival, magnificent parades and events take place every year on carnival weekend in the various strongholds.
Or visit one of the region’s many Christmas markets.

The Agora theatre company, known far beyond the borders, hosts the international theatre festival in St. Vith every year.

You’ll find contemporary art at the IKOB in Eupen, for example, or visit one of the many craft and art markets. A wide-ranging programme is available on the East Belgium website. 

When the weather’s bad, you can also go to the cinema. There are two cinemas with high-quality technical equipment to choose from:
Kino Scala – Büllingen, or Kino Corso – St. Vith.
